RE: Community Design Charrette, April 26th 2018

Hi!

Thank you to all that came on the 26th.  It was a success!

Unfortunately some in the earlier session had a negative experience due to the size of the crowd and for that I sincerely apologize.  I made 2 crucial errors in my planning of the event.  I should have indicated that people should drop in between the times and set the expectation that this was to be a casual introduction to the design concepts, not a formal presentation.   Next event will most certainly be set in a larger venue now that I know how much interest and passion there is in the community. 

 

We received a lot of suggestions and comments.  I’m  parsing through them and digging in on the difficult topics.  I am working on an information package I can email out that covers the material we exhibited, discussed, and incorporates some of the feedback from the event.  I expect to email it to you all by May 4th.

 

I am also working on an update to this website using the same material. 

 

Again – Thank you and I am sorry we were so overwhelmed by the numbers at the start.
